Expo 2020 Plot C326, once called Desert Experience, is a large-capacity open-air venue hosting up to 20,000 visitors. Design Confidence developed the Fire & Life Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with UAE and international codes for safe, large-scale outdoor gatherings.

The Expo C326 Development, previously known asDesert Experience, is an open-air facility designedto host up to 20,000 occupants at a density of 0.7sqm per person. Serving as a large-capacity eventspace within the Expo 2020 masterplan, thedevelopment was envisioned as a unique outdoorvenue for large gatherings and activations.

Design Confidence was engaged to prepare theFire & Life Safety (FLS) strategy for the projectmasterplan. The design complied with the UAEFire and Life Safety Code of Practice (2017), NFPA101 (2018), and NFPA 5000 (2018).
