The KSIA Station is a core element of the Qiddiya QXpressRailway, developed to meet the growing demands ofpassenger mobility within the KSIA district. Theunderground station features two platforms at sub-level,each equipped with dual tracks to ensure efficientoperations and smooth passenger flow.

Design Confidence was commissioned to develop the Fire& Life Safety (FLS) strategy for the station, ensuringcompliance with international and local safety codes whileaddressing the challenges of an underground transit hubwith high passenger density.

The FLS requirements for this project were guided by SBC201, SBC 801, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 5000Building Construction & Safety Code.
